Buying credits

When your balance is running low, the Billing page is where you top up. Here's how to buy credits, what the standard packs are, and how to talk to sales for volume.

Key takeaways

  • Sidebar → Billing → *Buy credits*. Pick a pack. Pay by card or invoice.
  • Standard packs come in 25 / 100 / 500 credit sizes with volume discounts.
  • Credits don't expire (only trial credits do).
  • For 1000+ credits or annual commitments, talk to sales for custom pricing.

Before you start

When your credit balance is running low — or when you anticipate a hiring sprint — the Billing page is where you top up. The flow is simple, but there are a few choices to understand.

Opening the Billing page

[@portabletext/react] Unknown block type "undefined", specify a component for it in the `components.types` prop

Pack sizes

Standard packs (exact pricing on the page; this is structure):

  • 25 credits — for occasional hires. Best for single-role or small-team usage.
  • 100 credits — for active hiring. The most popular pack for SMBs.
  • 500 credits — for hiring sprints or larger teams. Includes a volume discount.
  • Custom / 1000+ — talk to sales for an enterprise contract. Often comes with usage-based billing rather than packs.

Payment

Two options:

  • Card — Visa, MasterCard, Amex. Charge is immediate; credits appear in your balance within a minute.
  • Invoice — for enterprise customers. We issue a PDF invoice with NET-30 terms; credits credit on payment receipt.

You can save a default card for future top-ups in Settings → Billing.

When to talk to sales

If any of these apply, the Contact Sales button is your friend:

  • You need 1000+ credits per month.
  • You want an annual contract.
  • You need invoicing instead of card payment.
  • You want custom features — branded candidate emails, SSO, custom retention policies, dedicated infrastructure.
  • You want a security review / DPA.

TIP

If you're scaling up hiring (e.g. acquired funding, expanding into a new region), proactively contact sales before you burn through standard packs. Volume contracts unlock both pricing and platform features that pay back quickly at high volume.

After purchase

Credits show in your balance within a minute (card) or on invoice payment (enterprise). Email confirmation goes to the email tied to your account. The transaction shows in your Billing page history alongside individual interview-completion deductions.

Frequently asked questions

Do credits expire?

Paid credits do not expire — they stay in your balance until consumed by completed interviews. Trial credits do expire at the end of the trial window (usually 14 or 30 days).

Do you support purchase orders / invoices?

Yes for enterprise customers. Contact sales via the *Contact Sales* button on the Billing page. We can issue a quarterly or annual invoice with payment terms instead of charging a card.

Can I get a refund?

Unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. Email the platform operator with your transaction ID. Credits already consumed are not refundable except in cases of platform error.

How will I know when I am running low?

The credit balance is always visible in the top bar. We also send an email warning when your balance drops below 10% of your typical monthly usage, and again when it hits zero.
