Assessment Calls — reviewing the results

The Assessment Calls page lists every assessment-enabled interview. Read this to find out how to drill into a specific candidate's problem-solving session.

Key takeaways

  • Sidebar → Assessment Calls. Lists only interviews where the job had assessment-call enabled.
  • Filter and search the same way as the main Interviews list.
  • Click a row to see the assessment-segment-specific transcript and scoring.
  • Use this view when you only want to compare candidates who completed the assessment portion.

Assessment calls live in their own sidebar entry, separate from the main Interviews list. This article covers the page and how to drill into a specific assessment.

What this list shows

Same columns as the Interviews list — Candidate, Job, Status, Score, Date — but filtered to interviews where the job had assessment-call enabled. Useful when:

  • You want to compare candidates who actually worked through the live problems, separate from candidates from the same role who took a conversational-only version.
  • You're calibrating your assessment problems — looking at the score distribution across many candidates tells you whether the problem is too easy, too hard, or roughly right.

Clicking a row

Opens the same Interview Review page you'd see from the main list, but with an extra panel: the Assessment Segment transcript and per-problem scoring. The conversational portion is shown above; the assessment portion below.

Filtering

Same filter set as the main interviews list — status, date range, candidate search. Useful filter for retros: status = Completed, date range = a past hiring sprint — gives you the assessment-only cohort for that sprint.

TIP

If your team is debating whether to keep using assessment calls, set the date range to 90 days, sort by Score descending, and read the top 5 and bottom 5 assessment transcripts. The signal-to-effort ratio becomes obvious fast.

Frequently asked questions

Why are some completed interviews missing from the Assessment Calls list?

The Assessment Calls list only shows interviews where the job had assessment-call enabled at the time of the interview. Older interviews on the same job before you enabled it won't appear; later interviews after you disabled it won't either.

Can I score the assessment myself, in addition to the AI's score?

Yes — the assessment detail page has the same manual-feedback form as the main interview review. Your override or commentary attaches to the candidate's record alongside the AI score.
