Key takeaways
- Search box at the top — by name, email, or job title.
- Filters below: Jobs, Stages, Interviews, More. Combine for precision.
- Press `K` from anywhere to focus the global search.
- Sort by Profile Score / Interview Score to surface strongest candidates quickly.
Before you start
Past a hundred candidates, scrolling stops being practical. This article covers the search box, the filter system, and a few useful filter recipes.
The search box
At the top of the candidates list. Searches across name, email, and last-job-tagged title. Fuzzy on names; exact-ish on emails.
Keyboard shortcut: press K from anywhere in the platform to focus the global search.
Filters
Four filter buttons below the search:
- All Jobs — filter to candidates linked to one specific job (or All jobs for everyone).
- All Stages — filter by hiring stage: New, Invited, Interviewed, Shortlisted, Rejected. Multiple selectable.
- All Interviews — filter by interview status: Not yet invited, Pending, Completed, Failed.
- More — additional filters: location, score range, tags, date added.
Sorting
Click a column header to sort. The most useful sorts:
- Profile Score descending — top resume-fit candidates first.
- Interview Score descending — top interview performers first. Only meaningful after candidates have actually interviewed.
- Job Tagged At descending — most recently added first.
Useful filter recipes
Top 20 to review this week
Stages filter: Interviewed. Sort by Interview Score descending. Take the top 20.
Candidates who haven't been invited yet
Stages filter: New. Sort by Profile Score descending. Bulk-select and invite the top of the list.
Candidates who failed an interview (technical issue)
Interviews filter: Failed. Review these in the candidate detail and decide whether to re-issue invitations.
Candidates linked to a paused or closed job
Jobs filter: pick the closed job. Useful for cleanup — these candidates may belong on a different role.
TIP
The URL of the candidates page changes as you apply filters. Bookmark the URL of a frequently-used filter combination — opening the bookmark brings the filtered view back.
Frequently asked questions
Does search use fuzzy matching?
Yes — minor typos in names work (e.g. *Prya* finds *Priya*). Email matching is stricter — needs the prefix to match correctly.
Can I save a filter combination?
Saved filters are not yet in the platform. The URL preserves your filter state though — bookmark the URL to come back to the same view.
How do I see only candidates who have completed an interview?
Filter → Interviews → *Interviewed*. Combine with a Job filter to narrow further. Sort by Interview Score descending to see top performers.
